Tracy Tutor’s wardrobe in Del Mar is a perfect example of adopting a style but making it your own. So while a lot of people would wear floral to a horse race or party involving it, Tracy stayed true to her own closet—which I’m guessing doesn’t include much floral—by wearing looks like this striped off the shoulder dress. It says “Off to the races” while also still saying “Hi, I’m Tracy Tutor”. Like when I go to New York it’s easy to bring darker, more business inspired looks from my closet and adopt the city’s vibe, because I already own them. But when I head south to Dallas for my yearly Rewardstyle conference, I often have a hard time doing the whole North meets South thing while still staying true to my personal style.
