Trends come and go, but some trends come back and come back strong from surprising places. I love a lil’ old school style, so I’m totally obsessed with today’s trend that is making for the most unlikely “Who Wore it Best” ever…

When I first put on my Porsche Design 8478 aviators after getting them for Mothers Day—that I had to have after seeing them on the Kardashians— my dad (who was apparently king of the aviators back in the day) knew them by name and actually owned them. He’s a cool guy, but slightly shocking, I must admit. Then today, when Porsche Design Chicago posted this amazing photo of Michael J. Fox wearing the same model on Family Ties, I was totally obsessed! Who would have thought that the sunnies made popular by Kim, Kyle, Khloe and Kris were originally rocked by Alex P Keaton?! Now please don’t spoil it for me and tell me much they cost back in the day…
