Teddi Mellencamp’s hot pink denim jacket at iHeartRadio Wango Tango is pretty much the stuff that dreams are made of—my dreams anyways. I remember a few years ago when J Brand made a hot pink jean jacket inspired coat and it was the perfect shade just like this, but a bit out of my budget. But those were the good old days for my husband before the Housewives brainwashing began and I started justifying spending more on clothing.
All I’m saying (to myself) is that it’s really hard to get a piece that is this amazing shade for less and that’s why it’s a bit more that your average jean jacket. But it’s not like it’s THAT expensive. And it makes such a statement right? I could wear it with denim, leather, linen, rayon, silk, satin, organza, cashmere, wool…So versatile! In fact it will be perfect for that dinner I have planned but also for that week by the lake. I mean, I wear denim so often on a price per wear basis it’s SO worth it. And I could totally sell it on eBay if it’s not.
And that, ladies and gents, is how my closet has ended up stuffed to the brim. But hey, it’s just a hazard of the job.
