Like Tamra Barney, I totally get the appeal of the non-functional chandelier, and why they are a must for her wedding. After all, two short months ago when I moved into my new house I just about caused my father-in-law to disown me by requesting that I replaced a ceiling fan in my bedroom with a pretty, crystal chandelier. And then I explained my motto to him “Form over function”. And the rest was history. Except for the fact that while every night I’m dreaming under pretty dangling crystals making moonlight reflections on my walls, he’s up wondering what the hell I was thinking.
