Shep Rose’s Gold and Glass Lanterns at His Birthday Dinner Party

Shep Rose’s 38th birthday/first ever grown-up party may have been a little awkward for most people there, but I still rate it as a success. The table setting was stunningly beautiful and it gives me major inspiration for my summer night parties, especially the gold and glass lanterns. While I give Shep credit for throwing the grown-up party, I actually bow down to the party planner he hired – the decorations were perfect! However, despite the gorgeous table, drama ensued.

I have to admit before I started writing for BBH, I had never watched Southern Charm. But now I’m really getting into it. I don’t know all the drama, who use to date who, whose backstabbed who—but I’ll catch up quick. In fact, the dinner alone was really the only cliffs notes I needed.  I can’t pick teams yet, but I will say, I really like Cameran. And although I already don’t like JD, I do find humor in the appointed name, the break-up bunch.
