Savannah Guthrie’s military black and gold coat at the Christmas tree lighting on Rockefeller Plaza took our breath away. Amidst the drama of Matt being fired, this was definitely the silver lining, or shall we say gold lining, of the day. The gold trimmed and buttoned luxe coat is a super snazzy thing to keep Savannah cozy on a cold December day. It’s not exactly shocking that the Today Show ratings are killing it and getting higher and higher amidst the Matt drama. Might as well be a Housewives fiasco.

I have always wanted a Christmas tree of my own. Despite the fact that I’m Jewish, Christmas, Christmas music, holiday cheer, hot coco, and the movie Elf warmed my heart since I was in the high school show choir singing carols to anyone from nursing home residence to country club feasters. In fact, my friends and I would continue to sing carols year round whenever we saw each other, and our AMAZING group text is entitled “Singers from the North Pole.” So the lighting of the tree is always special to me, especially that giant beauty symbolic of the start of my favorite month! And the coat… lots of style stealers are around, but we picked some of our favorites below.
