This morning, I decided to get my weekly trip to Target out of the way early, because trust me, I totally went to college to have that count as a weekly accomplishment…After strolling through the aisles tossing any toy at my son within reach to make him stop trying to jump out of the cart (Big Blonde Family Rule Rule #23 – It’s like renting if you give it back), my mission of finding non-cheesy Halloween decorations so my son will know of the holiday and pajamas for my son without a big goofy clown or super hero on them them (Big Blonde Family Rule #2 – Any child born into the Big Blonde Family must wear miniature versions of adult looking clothing) was a failure. So I picked up some bread and a squirrel Halloween costume for my dog, because she is 70lbs and doesn’t fit into the pink tutu costumes and left, feeling ever-so defeated.

Until I reached the parking lot…As I was loading bags into my big, black SUV I caught a glimpse of fabulous, bold leopard print out of the corner of my eye (I tell you, after this season of RHONJ I have some sort of radar). The print was like no other leopard I’d seen, and it was attached to a chic looking mom loading bags into her big black SUV. The chick had on a perfect trench, oversized sunnies and rocked a thick bang like nobody’s business. I had to catch her. So, racing into my car, I jetted to the next aisle and rolled down my window. “Excuse me … I don’t normally approach women in parking lots, but you’re animal print bag is insanely gorgeous”. I must be quite good with pick up lines because she explained to me that the bag is nylon, very functional because it is a large tote and that she loves animal print, so it’s perfect (for a mom on the go, unspoken). And then she told me if I went on YSL.com the bag was still available.

Of course I didn’t catch her on the day she was carrying her killer, 6 year old Canal Street find. Oye.
