Retailer Review: Farfetch
If you’re a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan, you’ve definitely clicked on some of our links to Farfetch, but I know based on Feedback that not all of you are confident shopping there. If you’re a babe on a budget who still likes to splurge on some good investment pieces on sale, or a babe without a budget who loves a great selection, Farfetch is for you. You can score the season’s most coveted pieces, in addition to brands like Valentino, Balmain, Chloé, Dolce & Gabbana, Caroline Constas, Givenchy, Gucci, Alice + Olivia, Self-Portrait, Alexis and SO MANY MORE more on sale. They’ve even got Adidas. And since it’s somewhere I’ve definitely added to cart and checked out, here’s a look at why I shop the site.
- Sales. The number one reason I shop at Farfetch is that I have gotten great deals on designer items through their sales. The scoop is that they offer items from boutiques around the world which not only means a great selection, it means deals on items that may not be on sale at other major retailers. I got recently got a Tom Ford tote from a boutique in Italy via Farfetch for 50% off of what it currently on sale for at Net-a-Porter, Neiman Marcus and more. When you take in to account that Europeans are fashion-forward, things that may not yet be on sale in the US are sometimes on sale there!
- Shipping. Their shipping is fast despite everything I’ve ordered originating from boutiques in Europe. Their shipping info says 3-7 days for US Orders, but I’ve received everything closer to 3-4 days. If you live in New York or LA you can literally get some items within 90 minutes!
- Returns. I ended up returning a Givenchy tote that I got an amazing deal on but was too large for me, and it was as easy as printing a UPS return label and dropping the bag off. My money was refunded quickly and it was a seamless process.
- Selection. As I mentioned, Farfetch gathers items from boutiques around the world which offers unparalleled selection. It’s like shopping high end boutiques in Italy from the comfort of my own home! They also do exclusive Farfetch pieces, like the dress Erika Girardi recently wore to the Billboard Music Awards.
Right now, Farfetch is running a sale up to 50% off on a large selection of items*, check out some of my favorite pieces below:
