Naomie Olindo’s Favorite Hair Products
Season 4 Southern Charm Products
Southern Charm’s Naomie Olindo’s favorite hair products were revealed on Stassi Schroeder’s podcast “Straight Up With Stassi,” in between other great bits of Bravo gossip between the gal pals. Naomie shared the secrets to her lush locks which I am proud to say I use as well. Actually, the Oribe line of products is quite expensive and I wash my hair every day after I go to the gym, so if I’m not going to anything special that night I stick with my age-old fave Herbal Essences. However, if there’s an appropriate occasion I’ll break out the champagne-equivalent of Oribe hair products. Now, please don’t misinterpret- this brand is worth every penny spent on it. Besides Oribe’s luxurious lather, the range of products, and the growing makeup and fragrance line, I am mostly a fan because of the incredible scent of the products. Fashion and cinema mogul Tom Ford created the scent himself, and they just finally released it as a fragrance.
I have never been one to use perfume. Both because fragrances simply don’s stick to me but also because I’m the laziest person ever. However, when my nose first touched Oribe’s fragrance, I started using hair products in addition to shampoo and conditioner for the first time in my life.
From what we gathered, Naomi uses the “original” version of the line, and I use the “Shampoo for Magnificent Volume” and “Gold Lust” conditioner. I first chose those because I’m a sucker for gimmicks and the names caught my attention, but have since fallen in love. Then for the finishing touch (and really just for the scent), I spray the “Apres’ Beach Wave and Shine Spray.”
The following steps are added to my routine if there’s a special occasion or if I’m not too lazy, which I usually am: I apply Oribe’s “Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray”; I use my awesome Dyson blow drier (you guessed it, another slam dunk gift from my MIL, although my naturally low maintenance hair I credit my beautiful momma for) with a Moroccanoil round brush; and finish up with my Oribe perfume “Dry Texturizing Spray” as the cherry on top. And no, I have not been and probably never will be a paid Oribe sponsor! 😉
Whether you have colored, blonde, curly, fine, silver, dry or flat hair—Naomie also revealed that hers is naturally curly and she often straightens and then curls it to get her look—Oribe has a product for you. It also has a range of amazing makeup products and fragrances that I’m excited to keep trying out. If you want to really feel good, this is a great product. It also makes a perfect gift (my bff gave it to me as a 30th birthday present!). Enjoy!
Keep it Real,
Sally Steele
