In honor of the first day of March Madness, here are a few how-to tips on tourney style as we saddle up to the bar to watch some ball.
Do: Wear something vintage inspired

Do: Keep It Simple and Sporty
Even if the piece is fitted or has some styling, like off-the-shoulder or a deep V, keep it sporty…NO there aren’t any teams NCAA or Pro with pink as one of their team colors!

Don’t do pink.
DON’T do something too girly or over-styled – Espcially out of style and over-styled. Anything labeled “NCAA Women’s Tube Top” is NOT your friend.
Do: Wear something fitted, even if it’s a sweatshirt
So stay away from your boyfriends closet unless you plan to do some tying and cutting!
Michigan State Vintage Half Sleeve Tri-Blend Hoodie
DON’T: Over Bling – If it looks like Snooki wore it to college, put it back on the shelf.
If you MUST bling:
Don’t over-do it and keep some aspect of the outfit sporty (see:items below). And once again, no pink bling.
Kansas New Era Shimmer Adjustable Hat
Remember to keep the look cute with some sexy skinny jeans tucked into boots, or some fitted ripped jeans.

STAY AWAY from Alyssa Milano’s touch, Victoria’s Secret Pink Sportswear. There may be a few exceptions, but think long and hard before you rock it!
Happy Hooping!
