Liza Miller’s purple halter wrap dress would have been the perfect dress to wear to a shower I had earlier this summer. With a wrap dress that allows the extra mini tea sandwiches to stay hidden and a super flattering halter, the girly dress is a great summer frock for all shapes and sizes. When I saw the dress it really reminded me of a dress I wore to Turnabout. I finally got my crush to agree to a date with me and it was an accomplishment of a lifetime. The dress I wore, not the date.

I look at the young high school kids today and wonder where the hell their awkward phase went. While I had braces, incredibly short bangs and a general awkwardness for most of my young life, the girls now are always instagram ready at all times. But the one thing I managed to pull off was my junior year Turnabout. It was pretty great, and this dress really took me back there. It was an orange ombré asymmetrical hemmed scarf dress with bronze chain straps. Oh the memories.
