Why I love this look: 1) Dress: Under $100 and can also double as a jacket 2) Boots: Around $200 (on sale) and super, super fab 3) This look is SO ME. I experiment with fashion and trends a lot, and as a blogger when I’m sent things I have fun trying some things I wouldn’t normally wear (to an extent). I think that’s what fashion in your early 30’s is about…Trying things and figuring out what suits you best. I feel like I look my best in a dress that’s sophisticated and tailored, yet sexy, so I love it when I find one that gets one right. It’s also got a lil’ 80’s vibe that I love.

 Where to wear it: I’m wearing it to dinner at STK Chicago tonight for Jen Worman of RedSolesAndRedWine ‘s birthday (check out her blog here, she’s fab)! I also will also wear it to a holiday party, and my husband made me promise I’d wear it out with him because he thinks it’s a super hot look!

Inspiration: I must admit, my non-purchase of Balmain x H&M has me craving tux looks with gold buttons! Also, I’m super obsessed with Margo Robbie’s character in Wolf of Wall Street and I feel like she totally would have worn this!
