Lauren Loves: A Satin Faux Fur Trim Bomber Jacket
It was actually 55-ish degrees in the Chicago area today (which equates to, like, 85 everywhere else) so I got to bring out some of my early-Spring faves to go out and do casual Saturday stuff. I’m pretty sure this was all fate because, while my jacket sold out over a year ago at Zara, when I was looking for a style to link back to I found that another company totally stole the exact jacket (a company who’s been known to do such things, but more in the way of shoes) and is now selling it ON SALE for $45. It’s exactly the same, down too the zipper detailing and orange lining, but much less than I paid. It’s not only cute but the faux fur is SUPER soft (I hate cheap looking faux fur and it’s not) and the satin lining is pretty fab as well.
This jacket and fashion sneakers perfectly pair with everything from my fave ripped jeans (which are the BEST because they are also ripped on the back and so fab and well-priced they sold out and have now been re-cut) to leggings, which is exactly what I wore the bomber with yesterday to run errands. That’s the best part of fashion right now, elevated casual and athleisure wear make it so easy to look casual and chic. I paired the both looks with hoops and and my fave backpack and was good to go for the day. Since it’s the weekend I did my makeup for later on, just because it always feels good to look nice, and used some of my go-to, tried and true favorites, some of which I’ve been sharing with you for years.
On that note, since it is the weekend, I’m out…To snuggle with my fave satin and fur bomber.
