Lauren Loves: A Fleece Duster Sweater / Coat

I’ve messaged with a few of you about the sweaters you bought from my post from two weeks ago, “Lauren Loves: Best Fall Sweaters Under $100” and am loving our fashion chats. Since I am one to put my money where my mouth is—especially when it comes to shopping—I picked up a couple myself, so here’s the first!

As you all know, I’m obsessed with duster sweaters / coats and I have found a new, comfy, fave that comes in tons of colors that I am super excited about. It feels like fleece and is super warm, and can be worn with an OTK boot and fitted dress, or over leather leggings or skinny jeans and a boot. I’ve even been throwing it on to run errands. It’s a got a total Kim K feel for an inexpensive price, and I’ve been wearing it everyday!

I also have to say that I met Kristin Cavallari yesterday while wearing this coat, and she asked me where I got it! Since I’m such a fan of her style and she was a maternity fashion muse for me, I had to do a little bragging in print because it was a major compliment in my book for a coat that goes for around $60. Also, I knew of all people you guys would appreciate it, while I’d get an eye roll from my friends.

As for the other pieces in this look you may recognize…I’ve been rocking these OTK boots since last year and this season’s version, which I linked to below, is even cuter because it has an outer zipper. These Porsche Design sunglasses have been my most worn pair ever and I love them. If you ever scoop up a Chanel and are careless, go with Caviar leather because I tripped and literally dropped this in a puddle yesterday and it came out no worse for the wear! The black dress under it all is the same one I’ve been wearing through my pregnancy and after, because a a basic LBD will always be a staple for me. Update this Fall by purchasing a ribbed version like the one I linked to!
