Why I love this look: I first got into Porsche Design when my husband bought me the iconic, celeb-loved, 8748
aviator sunglasses for Mothers Day this year—A perfectly executed case of ask and you shall receive on might part might I add ;-). Through my love for these I became further acquainted with everyone at Porsche Design Chicago and have been able to work with them on styling looks for these photos (and more) in addition to planning the amazing party that we are throwing on August 27 in celebration of Porsche Design and the 8478 sunglasses (click here for full details and an invitation to the super chic night hosted by me and sponsored by Michigan Avenue Magazine here). I am in love with this particular look because it represents everything I love about the brand. Monochromatic colors, metallic details and clean lines are prevalent in everything from the pieces they design to their store interior.
Where this look works: This look works anywhere you want to turn heads but be taken seriously. I would wear the entire look to everything from a dinner (business or pleasure) to a meeting with a client to close a deal. This outfit definitely turned heads, even in a sea of people on Michigan Avenue. It conveys a chic and classic yet cutting edge style that I absolutely love.
Inspiration: The inspiration for putting together this look is absolutely life in the city. There are endless opportunities in Chicago and being dressed like you’re ready to take on the world exudes a confidence that gets you that much closer to the people you want to meet. Looking the part certainly never hurts anyone.
