Why I love this look: First and foremost, I love a GOOD maxi. What else can you throw on with flats and minimal jewelry to turn heads, without showing it all off? The open back, slit, draped detailing, lining (the quality is important, unlined maxi’s can show EVERYTHING) on this piece make it extra special, and I’m obsessed with the coloring.
Where I wore it: These photographs I did for my MK Collab eBoutique at Montrose Beach on the North Side of Chicago—it was literally 48 degrees and I was freezing—but it was so worth it because the colors worked beautifully. In “real life” I wore this look to the brunch the day after one of my best friend’s weddings. I seriously think it’s a no-brainer for brunch, lunch, dinner, wedding showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, traveling…Just about anything!
