I loved Kristin Cavallari’s tweet yesterday that read  “New drinking game for the season: every time I say ‘I’m running a business’ take a shot. Happy drinking-you’re gonna be wastes ;-p” because that is so my life. I don’t relate to things Reality TV stars say often, but I said the “I’m running a business!” to my husband just this morning on the phone at I say it ALL.THE.TIME.

Being a mom and running any business affiliated with fashion or anything entrepreneurial that isn’t a “normal” career often makes people think it’s not all that legit. They think it comes second in the household in terms of earning and priority and it’s supes annoying because they have no clue. It’s often expected I can take a day off, run an errand during the day or that I don’t need childcare, but my husband, also an entrepreneur never gets that! It is my total pet peeve (combined with a Monday morning) if you couldn’t tell.

And I digress before I need a shot myself. Kristin Cavallari’s ivory sweater with balloon sleeves is NOT my pet peeve. In fact, buying fab clothes like like this is one major reason “I’m running a business!”. Any questions?!
