I recently saw the insanely good movie about my personal hero “RBG,” (Ruth Bader Ginsburg), where she articulated a lesson her mother taught her, in the early parts of the 20th century no less, that my own parents instilled in me: “Being a lady means that you can marry your Prince Charming, and that’s great. But at the end of the day if something happens you should always be able to support yourself.” Well that advice seemed to do well for Justice Ginsburg, Kristin, BBH powerhouse Lauren, and myself.
