The only thing that made me happier than Kristin Cavallari’s beige off the shoulder sweater in this scene on last night’s A Very Merry Cavallari was watching Jay Cutler attempt to ice skate. If we were a site that added video clips, there would 100 be one here (but since we aren’t you can check it out here on The Ringer). It made me muchhhh feel better about my own mediocre ice skating skills, because if an athlete that is good enough to be an NFL quarterback can’t do it, I definitely shouldn’t feel bad about not standing a chance on the ice.

Speaking of good, an off the shoulder for the holidays like Kristin’s is where it’s at. While many sweaters can look bulky and shapeless, showing a little skin makes this cut a little sexier than your average style. Kristin paired hers with denim, but how cute and comfy would it be dressed up with some faux leather leggings? You can wear it to Christmas and Hanukkah or even something more casual like ice skating. Although if you do the latter you might finally understand why this style is sometimes referred to as a “cold shoulder”.
