Kourtney Kardashian’s Toy Doll House in Penelope Disick’s Room
Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 18 Episode 1 Decor
While Khloe Kardashian’s facial expression is an amazing capture from the scene with Kourtney Kardashian in Penelope Disick’s room discussing the pains of glam, it’s the toy doll house behind her that I’m actually focused on. I know parents and kids all over the globe are going stir-crazy right now and probably more wine than normal is being consumed nightly (or daily, I don’t judge). Parents are scrambling to figure out homeschooling and what to do with their children stuck in the house where it seems hours never end.
But, if you’re looking or something to keep your child (of all ages) occupied for hours on their own, look no further. Buying a doll house isn’t just another toy for you child. Doll houses allow kids to be creative and imaginative, it encourages life skills, motor skills, and social and conversational skills. The learning benefits to having and playing with a doll house are endless. And before you dismiss the thought of having a doll house because you have boys and think doll houses are just for girls, you’re wrong.
My grandfather made me a majestic doll house when I was younger and I spent countless hours playing with it – and so did my brother. Of course, it pissed me off when he used his stupid action figures in the high-class victorian home but the time we spent together, using our imagination, is a cherished and priceless memory.
Until next time,
Chelsie
