Kelly Ripa’s yellow dress with the short sleeves and tie neck was bright and cheerful today. Also bright and cheerful is the weather in Chicago. We are experiencing summer again, which was briefly lost to fall. And I’ll be honest, I was a little excited to finally be wearing my cute sweaters and sneakers. But still, I am thankful for what we have.

The East Coast is having a rough week. That crazy fire in Boston, plus Florence is pounding the Carolinas and the coast, I just pray for it all to go away! Another thing that went away today was Kelly and Ryan’s world record week. Lots of bizarre records were broken and I think it’s a funny tradition. I’d like to hold a world record for something one day… I just have to think of something quirky enough!
