I loved the scene on tonight’s Real Housewives of Orange County in which Kelly Dodd and co. were watching Shannon Beador on QVC! The women seemed to truly be rooting for Shannon to do a good job, which is a rare moment on Real Housewives. I loved when they all lost it when she grabbed her stomach because it’s totally something I would do. I have friends who haaaate it when I tell strangers I have extensions, my dress was $20, or I’m wearing 2 pairs of Spanx (hey, it’s come to that), but I can’t help it and I love that Shannon will do the same. I much prefer self-deprecating humor to pretending things are perfect, and I think that’s why I really like Shannon. However in regards to Kelly’s white and blue plaid top and skirt, she can’t say it ain’t perfect, because that wouldn’t be authentic.
