Jenna Bush Hager’s yellow ruffle top was nostalgic because it was an older blouse that I loved, and only a few are left in navy and white! Her adorable segment about nostalgia helped pinpoint exactly why we love halloween, the 80’s, and all things old. It makes us feel better, even if momentarily. She talked about old scents, music, media (before social), and why it makes us feel so good. And the whole Today Show team made us smile today, with their radical costumes of all of our favorite 80’s icons. Cindy Lauper, Elton John, Back to the Future, and more. I’ll just say this, the costumes are infinitely better than their major Snoopy debacle a few years back. That was awful, and we don’t talk bout it.
