Hoda Kotb’s Striped Long Sleeved Dress

If you’re looking for a great alternative to a black dress to wear to a nicer dinner that’s still comfortable, Hoda Kotb’s striped long sleeved dress is it! I had lunch with a friend of mine in the fashion world this week and I wore a long sleeved dress that had a fun space pattern and was sheer with a slip underneath. I came from court (where I work too) and she said “you’re allowed to wear that to court!” and when I replied that I really shouldn’t she just loved it.

My husband is a really tall and well dressed man. He is also an attorney and it is very interesting to see how many people just come up to him to ask for his business cards because of his appearance. He truly looks like the alpha male. Since I look a little younger than many other women, and sadly people are drawn to men, I like to dress conservatively but with some flair to distinguish myself as best as I can. Just like any other jobs, appearance counts when you’re an attorney. I think Hoda’s dress is another example of a great professional dress that isn’t too basic. Also, it would look super cute with white sneakers in the spring!
