Hoda Kotb’s Fur Trimmed Pink Coat

How much did you love Hoda Kotb’s fur trimmed pink coat on the plaza Today? You won’t be surprised that this super fabulous coat is faux fur. Faux fur used to be gross to me but I’m dying for the trend now. They made such improvements in the look, color and quality over the years that I prefer it to real fur (for so many reasons! Cost… humanity….). I have my fair share of faux fur coats and literally cant get enough. This one looks amazingly warm for the crazy New York weather!

Hoda helped Savannah find a woman that had a girl crush on her. Savannah presented her girl crush as icon Christy Turlington. Well my girl crush is Big Blonde Hair creator Lauren Sebastian. Guys- you have no idea. This girl started this blog around the same time she had her first son and was at the forefront of fashion blogging over seven years ago. She has since moved, had a second child, maintains and continues to grow her third child (this website you’re reading right now), is philanthropic, a hands on mom and wife, and truly the world’s best boss.

She has a sense of humor and is the most generous person I’ve ever met. I constantly tell her, and I really mean it, I don’t know how you do it all. She went on vacation last week and somehow trusted me enough to hand me the keys to this baby. The fact that she was disconnecting and had that faith in me put so much pressure to be perfect with her third biggest life project. Walking away from it, I’m even more in awe. She’s my woman crush (maybe along with Hoda and Savannah), who is yours!?
