Hoda Kotb’s blue v neck sheath dress on today has a great neckline and notch detail. The ultra flattering cut is by Hoda’s go to designer, which always fits her like a glove. My favorite story today was about adoption stories of pups that came from Hurricane Maria via a donated Southwest airline. I mean, any dog story beats human stories for me, right? It also put Southwest in my good graces. I was supposed to go on a girls’ trip to San Francisco over the weekend but couldn’t end up going because my husband broke his foot.

When I called United to try to get a refund or change the tickets, which cost me $200, the lady told me that I can change the ticket for $250. When I repeated it back to her, “so for $250 I can change my $200 ticket for a total of $450??” she responded “yes ma’am.” I am hoping that the poor woman is an employee of United and has to tell me that, and I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that inside her head she knows it made absolutely no sense. Needless to say I just didn’t show up for the flight and United likely ended up getting a free $200 from me and filled the seat with another paying customer. Ah airlines….
