Grace Adler’s red suede skirt on tonight’s episode was an appropriate color for the occasion. The Curmudgeon finally broke and had some feelins, and they were towards Grace. He told Grace he loved her during an argument, which I think might be pretty common. People say crazy things when they’re fighting, often really, really below the belt, but sometimes sweet and sentimental. Loving Grace is apparently still not enough to meet his daughter. I wonder who will play his daughter and whether she’ll be a curmudgeon too.

On the other hand, on an ordinary day my then boyfriend now husband sat quietly on the couch before the stoic giant nervously blurted “ILOVEYOU” loudly and awkwardly. Everyone has funny first time stories, and I Love You’s are usually very entertaining.
