Grace Adler’s cropped leather jacket went perfectly with her amazing dress and crazy hair tonight. Her hair was certainly worthy of a scary halloween episode and boy did she kill it. But this jacket, which comes in brown, black and wine, killed it as well. It’s an elevated twist on the moto jacket that my siblings had in the 80’s and that I have now. It kind of looked like a bolero.

And I really liked the monochromatic look that she sported. Wine has quickly become my favorite fall color, and drink. OK it was always my favorite drink, who am I kidding? And there are so many different ‘wine’ colors that each time I want to buy something and tell myself I have basically the same thing, I convince myself by saying “well, that’s really Burgundy.” You know? Oddly enough my mom loathes the color for some reason and that may be the only thing we have ever disagreed on. Actually, once she told me not to buy gold shoes in college because they’ll go out of style very quickly, and she was clearly WRONG on that one. I still regret not getting them. Thanks ma.
