Just who is loving the feathered earing trend? A laundry list of celebs, including Kristin Cavalari, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel, Vanessa Hudgens, Paris Hilton, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Jessica Szhor and American Idol’s Steven Tyler. They’re wearing them short, long, bright, neutral and even in one ear.

If you’re loving them too, you MUST buy a pair by Ali Oesch. Unlike many you will find, hers are handmade, all natural and un-dyed, giving them a shiek look as they blend and then pop in most hair shades. In Hollywood hot pink works, but since LA is about the only place people will not throw rocks at you for wearing what looks to be an entire peacock in your ear, we need to use variations of styles that are more wearable.

If you’ve got so much feather love that the earrings aren’t enough (or you’re under 21), many salons are now offering feather extensions, as seen on Ke$ha and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

To save yourself some cringing when you look at pics 10 years from now, I’d just stick with Ali’s less permanent, more stylish earrings.
