Emily Simpson was a great addition to the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 cast, and she’s continuing to prove her place in the fashion game by wearing a designer we’ve seen on Bravo many times to the reunion. My favorite thing about Emily, that I’ve written about before, is that she brought fashion to the forefront that doesn’t only work for a size 0 and looks amazing on her. In the land of the Housewives I think we often need reminders that beauty doesn’t only come strolling along in a size 25 jean, and personally I think it helped me confidence-wise at this point in my life. I love that she’s 5’9 like me and still wears heels and also that she knows how to dress to hi-light her tiny waist and great legs! It reminded me about dressing to hi-light my assets and not worrying as much about the size of my a*s ;-p. So a big thank you to Emily for a great first season on fashion and giving me a reality tv reality check when it comes to body image.
