Debra Newell’s snake print blouse was foreshadowing the few moments to come. Debra finally let some of her kids’ thinking sink in, and got a first glimpse into the snake that John really is. It’s hard to believe that all of these red flags were overlooked. Blinded by love alright, John is like a snake in the Garden of Eden tempting Debra with an apple. Or in this case, a fruit smoothie and warm shower every morning. I would love a fruit smoothie every morning brought to my bed. But we all know that’s too good to be true, and you can see why. Furthermore, since I take extremely hot showers, like, allll the way to the right, I don’t know if John would be able to do that for me. That said, while a snake is not cute, this blouse is.
