There were a lot of fun, red dresses on last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey, but I’m pretty sure the most requested item is Melissa Gorga’s v neck tee shirt talking to Joe about providing a positive image towards working women to their daughter. I definitely feel for Melissa and I hope Joe steps it up in terms of the way he speaks about Melissa’s business in front of his kids. Having been in wholesale {I sold clothing to department stores and boutique buyers, like Melissa} running a boutique is a hard job and many of them don’t last long enough to remember their names, so she deserves some credit.

I could write pages and pages about this topic  as I deal with this a lot as a mom running a small business, although my husband is good about it. He and I are both entrepreneurs, have the same number of people on our teams and yet people don’t always grasp that my business is as legitimate as his because they don’t understand it. It’s frustrating but hopefully we can teach the next generation to be better, which starts with conversations like Melissa is having.

And I digress. We admire Melissa bringing up this topic, we also admire her ability to pick out casual pieces like this ringer tee. Unfortunately it’s sold out, but we can steal her style until the next one pops up. It seemed like A LOT was sold out this season, so I highly suggest following her Insta and getting the pieces as soon as she wears them because although S9 is over, the style never stops.
