Things are certainly coming to a head, but at least the girls get to look good for it and Monique Samuels’ burgundy ruffle dress is one of them! This woman has never looked less than stunning. I mean, the fact that her mom legit looks like she could be her twin sisters tells us that all the unfairness stems from good genes.

Speaking of good genes, my sister and I just took a road trip with her son to drop him off at camp in St. Louis. We spent the night in the city (sorry guys, nothing to see there), and went to this sort of bar/club/hotel restaurant for dinner (only option). Two young guys came up to our table to start chatting. They asked how old I was and I replied 32. They were polite enough to say “wow” and then they said to my sister “soooo you must be like 30?” Um, guys, my sister is 10 years older than me. Not a great moment.
