I was ecstatic to get a glimpse at one of the most enviable bathrooms on Bravo, and some of Dorit Kemsley’s products packed for Berlin. We included some of the stuff we saw she picked to bring with her, but also things that she stocks up at home. Basically, an adult version of “I Spy!” Mostly, I have now gotten a personal confirmation that the gummy vitamins that I’ve been raving about for months are not just great in my head, but are used by housewives. Dorit uses the brand’s energy vitamins (and a stack of two others), but I swear by the restful sleep gummies they make! They have melatonin and some other natural products and I have slept like a baby for the last three months. It may be a placebo, and I don’t care, because it works. And clearly Dorit’s energy vitamins work… I mean, clearly.
One of the many insane things I have done in life is take a group of 270 8th graders on a trip overseas. I found out many shocking and horrifying things about that age group that never existed when I was their age (or at least I was too dorky to know about), but perhaps the most shocking part was that I became a walking pharmacy. The most mild kids had to take an allergy pill every day but the amount of meds that a majority of the kids had to take was eye opening. I was mostly surprised with how many of the kids said they couldn’t fall asleep “without my melatonin.” That wasn’t a word I heard since my mom talked about melatonin tea when I was their age. But I guess I shouldn’t judge because now I never want to fall asleep without my melatonin.
