Perfect for International Women’s Day, Grace Adler’s red twist front top was giving us feminine power vibes. Although Grace was super awkward talking about masturbating teenagers, she ultimately pulled off an amazing looking shower. I loved her toast “to being happy with our choices and having everything we need. L’Chaim.”
But the best part of the shower was Grace’s comment about feelings. Will made her write her feelings on paper, which accidentally ended up in a fish bowl that everyone read out loud. I agree with Grace, and as a Jew, I can confirm we eat our feelings. And a lot of food. Jews love food. But sometimes we need to share our feelings out loud. And when Grace did that the rest of the room (and probably most female viewers), felt like they understood the other side of attending a shower. I mean, if you’re a girl, you’re asked “do you have a boyfriend” then “when are you getting married” then “when are you having kids” then “when are you having another one” in perpetuity. Can’t we just be enough as we are? Well there you have it: A girl writing down AND sharing her feelings.
