You may have missed a glimpse of Amanda Batula’s fruit patch denim jacket while she was getting ready for mom’s night, but it’s worth a second look. Denim jackets came back a few years ago and don’t seem to be going anywhere, although an oversized one may be my next purchase, if not the one Amanda wore tonight.

My denim jacket is literally vintage. It is from my four week stint as an employee at Abercrombie & Fitch when I was 16. That didn’t work out for a number of reasons, but the jacket did. And I’m so glad I never got rid of it because it’s so cute minus the A & F cologne spray that, as you can imagine, still lingers deep in the pockets of my jacket.
