Peggy Sulahian’s long purple anniversary dress at her 22nd anniversary party was a great dramatic look for the occasion. Peggy totally pulled off this bold shade and I loved the back necklace that added a little extra drama to this draped back look. And while we aren’t all celebrating our anniversaries with an occasion that requires a look this dramatic—for example, a “friend” of mine whose 9th anniversary is tomorrow just spoke to her husband who’s plans happen to be to walk in and put their names into an old favorite restaurant, cough—I think the black velvet version I linked to below is  literally absolutely stunning for a black tie holiday / winter event.

All I know is that I hope my “friends” husband took a gifting giving page out of Diko’s guide to anniversary gifts. And on that note, my “friend” is off to figure out what she’s going to wear for lucky number 9.
