Why I love this look: I’ve always been a total ripped jeans girl whether’s it’s “in” or not (I’ve seriously heard the “there’s a hole in your pants” comment probably 500+ times). While attending lunch and seminars on Saturday at the Rewardstyle conference I wanted to be comfortable and represent my own, everyday style. So, I wore my new favorite (under $100) ripped jeans because they are awesome, and are also distressed on the back! I paired them with a Zara top because Zara is the place to go for budget pieces with a high fashion feel. I’m also obsessed with fringe, studs (per ususal) and mid-arm bracelets, so this look is all me!
Where I wore it: I wore this look to an outdoor lunch at the Rewardstyle Conference hosted by MatchesFashion.com and famed designer Mary Kataranzou, to celebrate their recent collaboration (view it here) on the Joule Hotel rooftop. It was an amazing setup and wonderful hearing from such a talented designer in addition to the minds behind luxury retailer MatchesFashion.com (hint: it’s a great place to shop current season, but I’ve got some really good deals on SALE pieces from Matches). The fun thing about a conference full of the world’s top 200 fashion bloggers as there is such a variety of looks at each event—at this event I went for casual, rocker-chic, but saw everything in terms of style imaginable.
Inspiration: A boho meets rocker Califonia vibe, and just being me after stressing about outfits for the conference for a month! This wasn’t what I planned to wear, but I woke up and thought, you know what? I just needed to be me.
