Looking for the right way to make it through the winter to spring transition layering aerobics (ie put it on, take it off, take more off, put it on)? Take a page out of my lightly layered “Lauren Loves” look…
Why I love this look: Wearing ripped jeans can be tricky temperature wise (ie too cold in winter and too hot in the heat of summer) so they are perfect for this time of year. I love dressing them up with more structured pieces like the hard lines of the vest, shoes and earrings to make them look less sloppy. And then, if the environment is right, it’s easy to take of the vest in this situation for a more laid back vibe.
I also love a great scarf to pair with jeans and a tee for Spring, and this huge animal print style is super versatile. Plus I love pairing a pop of neon with leopard, so the earrings fit right in!
Inspiration: I was inspired by a mixture of my own ideas and the look Kate Beckinsale wore HERE
Where I wore it: I’ve worn the look out to dinner at a trendy resto, but think it could be done for lunch too. And the scarf can be thrown on with a tee, jeans and boots and worn just about anywhere.
Lauren Loves: Distressed Denim, a Leopard Scarf and Spiked Sandals

After about 5 years of stalking celebrity fashion, I’ve only shown you a small fraction of my rather large closet and fashion knowledge. That being said, I’ve decided to dive in to a new “Lauren Loves” feature on BigBlondeHair.com. Every Wednesday, you can expect a new outfit post of my finds inspired by celebrities as well as my own taste. I’ll feature everything from Saint Laurent to Forever 21 and tell you why I love it all. I own it all, so please feel free to comment with questions about sizing, retailers, styling or anything else. Xo & Happy Reading
